MONDAY - 11/27

Today on the Logan Blackman Show (back on a Monday) we recap the Bills depressing loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, which saw them lose 37-34 in a hard fought overtime game, We go over all that happened, from coaching decisions to ref ball, as well as discuss what the future could hold for some members of the team after this loss, which brings them to 6-6 going into the bye. After the game, we discuss the possible candidates for league MVP, and figure out whether a non-quarterback should actually take home the award after some suspect QB play so far this season. Moving to college, we take a look at the Heisman race after week 12, 'cherry picking' some stats that help prove who we think should win the award, while also destroying the other candidates in the process. We then recap everything that went on in the state of Iowa this past weekend, from Iowa beating Nebraska, to Iowa State beating K-State in a snowy game thus destroying all preseason expectations, and Drake get dumped out in the first round of the FCS Playoffs. Finally, we play some stupid sports trivia game my mom wanted me to play, allowing you, the listener, to answer some insanely tough questions from around the world of sports. Enjoy!

WEDNESDAY - 1/3

Today on this 2024 episode of the Logan Blackman Show we go over everything we went through to close out 2023, from getting pulled over to having some random dude try to 'help' load up a new TV. We then turn out to college football and recap Iowa's 35-0 loss to Tennessee on New Year's Day, going over everything from Iowa's third shut out loss against a ranked team to the loyalty towards Deacon Hill and how things could've been so much different. We then figure out who's bowl game was more disappointing between Iowa and Iowa State before turning our attention to the CFP semi-final match-ups which saw Michigan beat Bama in overtime and Washington hold on against Texas. With that, we discuss each winning quarterback's performance and give an opinion on how it could change their draft stock, while also discussing which teams could take McCarthy and Penix, and in which round. Sticking with quarterbacks, we pair each quarterback entering the 2024 draft with a team, as well as make an impromptu top-10 list of the current starters in the NFL. Finally, we recap this past weekend in the NFL as well as preview each playoff deciding match-up for the final week of the regular season. Enjoy!

FRIDAY - 1/5

Today on the Logan Blackman Show, we preview Monday's upcoming game between Michigan and Washington, with one set to be crowd college football national champions. With that, followed by a rant about the game being on Monday, we go over each quarterback's draft stock, discussing who could and should be drafted higher between McCarthy and Penix once the draft rolls around in April. Sticking with quarterbacks, we discuss former Oregon Duck quarterback, Ty Thompson, possibly transferring to Iowa, as well as trying to figure out who Iowa's next offensive coordinator could be for next season. On Iowa, we then go over Cooper DeJean's decision to declare for the NFL draft, and why it was either a good or bad decision for the outstanding corner. Fully moving on to the NFL, we take a look at the recently revealed squads for the upcoming Pro Bowl, going over notable exclusions as well as discussing who shouldn't have made the roster. Finally, we take part in a quiz naming each NFL team's last Pro Bowl quarterback as well as preview the final week of regular season NFL football and my final fantasy championship match-up. Enjoy!
